I know how it feels to be in your shoes, but you cant give up.
There is hope. Does he want to stop? Does he admit he has a problem?
You can read parts of my blog, I have a 19 year old son that is a drug addict and I'm so happy I didnt give up on him. He is now in a year long program and doing sooooooooo well. I'm so happy to have my Son back.

Thanks for the concern KD but I'm pretty safe on it considering I have not taken it out in traffic yet. I think I just wanted to prove to myself I could do it after all these years. I had to run to the roar.
My Husband just jumped the gun and bought it for me right away (I think he took out a big life insurance policy om me. LOL)
The tatoos were a special thing that Tim and the boys all did at Christmas time it is the same tatoo but they all have there own initials inside of them, I dont know if you can tell in the picture but one is RAS and the other is TJS.
The boys were talking about tatoos for a long time so we thought that would help them not to go do something stupid like a pot leaf or something. Curb the appetite maybe?!?

That's what I love about women, we fight for what we believe in, we don't back down.
Let some one mess with our kids and we go for the juggler.
As for your Husband I don't think he meant any harm he was trying to be cute. I bet he thought he was giving you a compliment.
My husband would not get involved either, he would just sit back and let me fight the battle, he does not like conflict of any sort.
I'm so proud of you for not letting this go, so many people would have.
So, has your Son said anything else about it?

I do find it funny that we get so caught up in the thoughts of others.
I bet alot of us know each other better here on thoughts then some of know the people living in our own homes.
It's great to journal thoughts and then go back and read them.
Last time I went back and read my posts, I was thinking how could someone that has been thru that much crap in such a short time still be walking around with a smile.
The support that we get from others reading our thoughts is what keeps us coming back for more.

Where are you in the birth order? I am 4th in line. There are 2 girls then 1 boy and then 2 girls. So I guess you could say I am a middle child.
My oldest son Ryan was hard to deal with and sometimes still is, I know you will win the battle. I have faith! I should have been named Faith. LOL

keepdreaming my visions are not always THAT clear. When I was going thru all this I prayed many times a day for God to just show me what it was that he wanted me to do.
I was totally sleep deprived and going at Mach speed due to the leadership thing I was involved in.
I wish they were always that clear too!
I just say listen to your gut it will never disappoint you.

ColoradoDreamin it was nice to read a little bit about you! What your life is aside from thoughts.
I have been in Real Estate for about 10 years, before that I was an investor. I got my license to save time and money on commissions. When Real Estate gets real busy Realtors have so much going on I use to miss great deals, so I thought what the heck. Well one thing lead to another and I started working with other investors and then I bought an office and built it up to 189 agents and then I sold it. Good timing for me too I might say. Now I am off and running in a new direction.
I hope Real Estate is as good to you as it has been for me.
I use to always say it is gangster money.
Anyway I hope all is well.

How beautiful those tulips in the picture.
Spring has always been my favorite time of year.
We are in Tenn. right now and the trees are blooming and there are wild daffodils everywhere. It was a beautiful day today, I spent the whole day outside. You would think living in Florida I would get sick of the sunshine and warmth but it never can be bright enough or sunny enough.
Thanks for stopping by and seeing me today, I have been so busy I have not been able to spend too much time on thoughts but I always at least check in and see how everyone is doing.

I remember those days Hollis! I use to think how nice it was going to be when my kids got to be around 15,16,17 my life would get so much easier. HAHAHA!!!
I don't know why I thought that, I could say wishful thinking or complete retardation on my part. I grew up with 5 kids in my family only 6 years apart and I know what my Mom went thru. I just thought it would be different with my kids.
I have recently been certified as a family coach and I have learned soooooo much. I was thinking the whole time in class I want to do it over, since that is not possible I can help others with theirs.
Parenting should always come from love and not fear. Fear based parenting looks like... yelling, spanking, threaten, punishing. Love based parenting looks like... listening, hugging, giving choices, giving consequences.
If your child is acting up and being mouthy try this....
Get down to there level and look at them in the eye and ask them, "what are you sad about?"
I have even tried this on my 20 year old, he still gets mouthy with me, it actually works. I have noticed everytime he is getting that way it's really nothing more then he wants to be heard and he is sad about something. He looks at me like I've gone crazy but he actually starts to tell me whats wrong.
Just a suggestion, if you try it let me know how it works.

Stir the Soul will be in Tennessee. We live in Fl most of the time right now but we will be spending most of our time here in Tennessee soon.
We are going to get Stir the Soul up and functional and then we will just put the proper people in order to run it full time.
Thank you for sharing this excitement with our family, it really has been such a turn around in all of our lives. Trevor has turned the whole family upside down, in a good way this time.

One of my best friends had a roommate and we found him dead on Monday. It appears to be suicide, what could be so bad that you take your own life?
We were talking about the last week and how he was living and I have been wondering what would I be doing if I knew I was checking out. HHHHHHHHMMMMMMM
