You are right Paul, the love of our family and friends only helps us get thru it!
I have not had a broken heart since I was a teenager. Thank God!
After I read your comment I had to think way back to pull up those feelings of a broken heart and it is all coming back to me now. It kinda feels the same way as what my Son is doing to my heart right now.

Here we go again huh, those drugs are powerful, but I only wish my Son was smoking pot, it's a hell of alot better then this RX shit.
It's a bummer that the cops rained on your parade. I hate to say it but I have never met a cop yet that I could trust. Sorry if I offended anybody out there! It has just my 43 years of experience with them.
By the way I bet you do look good in leather! :)

Paul by reading what you wrote I feel that you are ahead of the game, you at least are understanding of the game and that is the first step.
I am going to send that blog to my hubby!
My husband is awesome, he is almost perfect actually but he is unemotional and I keep trying to get him to be more vulnerable with me and after 24 years it hasn't really happened yet.
I think he knows I would never take advantage of his emotions. I would only love him that much more if he would show me that tender side of him.
I think your blog could help.

I didnt realize that so many of you actually KNOW each other.
I think even tho' you know each other you should still speak whatever is on your mind for that is the way we come to love each other in the first place.
If someone has a problem with someone else they should take it to the source. That avoids alot of bullshit.
I hope whatever you are talking about you can all get it cleared up because that what family is all about!

I know what you mean about the computer thing, I do the same thing to my hubbie at times, we get so caught up with our thoughts family because there are so many wonderful, kind, considerate people.

Missmarie- Your right he is the victim of the system, he has been crying out for help for a while and the F****** system prevented us from getting the help he really needed.
Is what I mean by he is not a victim is that he has made some bad choices.
I am going to fight like I have never fought before, Beware I am women hear me ROAR!
If I am able to prevent this shit from happening to even 1 Mother and her child it would be worth the fight, however I want to help thousands.
I'm gonna put my money where my mouth is.
Thank you so much for your support at such a difficult time in our lives.
I will not stand back and watch my Son be a statistic.

I'm gonna go create a riot where it will be the most effective. I will riot in my Sons best interest, not to get him out of trouble with the law but to get him help with his problem. I am determined and he has said he is ready for a change. Life is urgent, do whatever it takes, right?

Cassidy- I'm happy to hear you came out on the other side of drug abuse. You are right it is a choice and my Son knows it, he also knows how powerful drugs are and somehow he needs to learn how to be stronger.
My son will be the first to tell you that shit is the devil.

kmalbro, I'm not sure what the lesson is, I have learned however that there is a lesson in everything we experience.
Today I have thought about why so many drug abusers have been put in my path, I have had a whole lifetime of dealing with it. I have been concerned, caring and compassionate.
I guess is what I was asking is why?
Today I may have answered that question myself. It has to do with MY MISSION. I'm thinking I can help other parents deal with what I have gone thru due to the fact I have lived it.
I have said I'm in search of something I can do to be bigger then myself. Maybe this is why I have had so much of this in my life. To come up with some answers by going through it myself. I am learning how to not let it destroy me.

It's important for us to have many people that we love and that love us, that way if and when we get rejected we have many loved ones that gather around to comfort us.
Always be in action that way our life will not be consumed with just one love but with many things and people.
No matter how you slice it rejection hurts our hearts, it's just a matter of loving ourselves that much more.

Take a look at what is working for you and what is not and make the change. You deserve better.
Practice self love. Once you love yourself things will change and you will not have to settle.
Parenting is the hardest job in the world. I just read a blog of Hollis and I would recommend you go see her for a visit. Read her blog on parenting, it says it all, well almost.

DS I gave my career up a few years ago to figure out what my purpose was here on Earth.
My mission for many years was being a Mommy, then when my children were starting High School I started a very successful career, now I am hellbent on my purpose and mission. It's just taking a little time to figure out exactly what the mission looks like, my purpose I have gotten real clear on just recently.
Life comes full circle.
My tombstone will say something that is similar to Mother Theresa minus the religion.

DS I have to agree with Pauligan.
I talk to people everywhere and I get a positive response about 95% of the time.
When my friends go places with me they cant believe the interactions I have with complete strangers. They always tell each other don't go with Lynette anywhere because she talks to complete strangers and it takes forever to get thru the store.
When I go shopping at the Mall, I come away with the life stories of at least a few people. I had a talk about this with my Son one day and asked him, why do people tell me their life story when I don't even know them and his response was "because you listen" hhhhmmmmm interesting.
I love people and I'm not afraid. I ask them "how are you today" and they actually tell me. I'm not sure why it is so easy for me, and then again I don't understand why it is hard for others.
I have had people tell me that I have a light around. I'm not sure what that means, I assume that is a good thing.
It's just a way of BEING
