First, I must apologize to all of my loyal readers, you know who you are, for my absence. The magnitude of crap that goes on in Peds Neuro can be overwhelming at times. However, during my time away, I have had the opportunity to ponder some things and I have come to realize that arrogance and stupidity do not mix. You cannot be both! You can either be arrogant and smart or stupid and humble, but UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE should someone be allowed to be both. It throws off the balance of the universe, not to mention it's annoying as hell!!
But I digress...the purpose of this issue is to introduce you to the cast of characters:
Dr. Crocs: He is interim leader of this God-forsaken ship. He hates his job, is missing his frontal lobe, and, you guessed it, wears crocs all the time. He would probably wear them with a tux...
Ass-Hat: I feel like the name says it all..
Dr. Dementing: She is the former leader of Peds Neuro. She often remembers things that never happened and forgets things that acutally did. She is often heard saying, "I've been doing that for years!"
Dr. Baby Medical Baby: She is Dr. Dementing protege, although "minion" is probably a better term. She has what I will refer to as a "loose grip" on neuropsychology and primarly sees babies with medical conditions, mostly because she will screw up any other kid she sees.
ESL: She is our collegue from the orient. She appears to know some words in English and sometimes she can put them together, but hell if I know what she's trying to say.
Penelope: So...remember my rant about arrogance and stupidity...
