You have to realize that not all guys are like that. Some really want to have a real relationship, but maybe not that jerk. Don't be pushed into anything that you don't want to do. Let things come slow and get to know someone before you get intimate. It makes sex so much better.

The only problem that I see is that you let her put you down. Be the alpha. Put a stop to the name calling and negative criticism as soon as she says it or even hints to it. Tell her how you feel about it. The same is a good idea as to your concerns about her husband.
