It's always very disturbing to be so close to tragedy. Being right there and reading about it in the newspapers is completely different. I'm glad you had a safe trip. Was it successful, too?

I like Tokyo a lot. Very cosmopolitan; not as provincial as Osaka. I feel very comfortable there even though it's a HUGE city. Good luck!

I don't like the rain, either. It makes everything a little bit harder and a little less comfortable. When the sun is shining, everything looks better - food even tastes better!
