Red said "want to play cards tonight?" I told him no, that I am feeling alittle down and dont really feel like playing (I haven't told anyone about the breakup, up to this point), and then explain that Tiff left me. He gives me the normal shpeel "well then go out, find someone else, you'll get over her" Yeah, I know this, doesn't mean it dont hurt right now. A little later Erin called me. Yeah, that Erin! She is Brandon's (Red) sister in law, back when Red was dating Liz, I was dating Erin. Anyway, she tell's me that Brandon told her I was pressed out(depressed) and a little bit of what I told him. Seems Erin has been reading me here on thoughts and I didn't know it. So of course as soon as he tells her she comes here and reads my posts. Like any (missmarie this is for you) old friend she's concerned. Says there is no sense in me sitting around waiting on her(Tiff) that we can go out have a laugh, toss back a few drinks and she'll let me cry on her shoulder if I need to. CRAZY!!!! I told her maybe, and before you post anything I know I should ,but she aint Tiff, and we got history like you wouldn't believe(Erin and I), but it is just drinks....

Don't waste time feeling depressed its not worth it. Get out, socialize, and be crazy (in a safe way).

All I can offer is be careful. After my divorce, a couple drinks led to living in a bottle. I also became a terrible man-whore. Don't let depression take you down that road. Have a good time and take it easy on the drink and make choices with a clear head. Now go, grasshopper! and enjoy the evening. :)
