Efforts made, always trying
never satisfied
gave it my all, and you still weren't happy
when did love die?
So many years,
are they now wasted?
and so many tears
I still taste them
I gave everything for your heart
cant you see that?
and never, I do think,
did you love me back
Well I'm through,

this aint working out
this hurt wasnt in the plan
But God!! this is killing me

A friend of ours made a big decision today. She has fought for love to long ,to not have it returned. Friends let her know we're here. Let her know that she hurts and we know her pain and we care. And give her strength

(raising hand) I've known this pain for a long time, and still do. I feel bad for anyone who has to endure such hell. No one deserves to experience this.

It's so painful and hard to try and try and finally have to let go. A decision starts the process of changing course and allowing something new to enter our lives. Please read my post entitled "Departure" (2008-05-07). You are in my thoughts and prayers. Peace.

Better alone than with the wrong person. Strength will help her heal - friends will help that healing be eased.

Unrequited love is the worst kind of torture. No matter the pain that you are having to endure, you're doing the right thing by leaving. Know this, that the one you are leaving will not nearly be affected by this as you will be. Hope knowing that makes you feel better.

MKaye, good for you, sounds like it was a tough decision, but the right one, and you certainly seem to have alot of people rooting for you! Lean on your friends for awhile until you can stand tall. good luck to you, I will be checkin in now and then to see how you are doing.
