Let me tell you a story
about a heart divided.
A tragic tale of heartache,
and the players God provided,
of years ago an angel sent
if only he would know
but lust's desire took him away
from what should have been set in stone.
In passions path the boy did walk
till he found his desire
in raven hair and ruby lips
he felt Satan's fire.
And oh the nights they had!
The boy and Satan's nymph,
with sex and drugs and rock and roll
his needs of flesh soon quenched.
But lust isn't enough,
as the boy soon realized.
To late to turn back now,
fear being the tie that binds.
so he stayed with this lover
to affraid to be apart.
Scared he'd never find another
to fill the empty in his heart.
And he played the nymph's evil games
and even fought her fights,
looking back now and then
on when love once felt right.
Now remember there was an angel
at the begining of this tale?
Well she moved on in life,
while the boy fell deeper into hell.
Now the angel grew and blossomed
and heavens light did shine.
And sure enough in love
a few hearts she did find.
But at night while she layed
she often thought of that boy,
of the brief love they once shared,
and how she missed that joy......
