 rushing to a red light...
today is just another day...one of those days you wish technology didn't exist. so that there couldn't be an alarm clock to wake me up, a car to drive, a red light to stop at, a work computer to log onto, a blackberry to silence, a ringing phone to answer, a personal cell phone i don't need...etc. sometimes i wish life was simple. in stead of getting out a piece of plastic to pay for everything...we could all just help each other out. yes this is completely unrealistic, but everything about this cynical society is unrealistic. why do we get up every day and rush to a place we don't even want to go? and why is that a way to live? then why do people that have too much money not all share it? if oprah or donald trump gave every hard working American that made under 6 figures $50,000, they would still be rich. but yet we continue to donate to them. we watch oprah we watch donald trump's show, we buy his condos, we donate to their wealth and then bitch about it. pretty ironic huh? we're all guilty. i love going to the movies, i do. but i wish i hated it. because i know that every time i go spend $16 for two of us to see a movie, we are paying them, we are paying the rich people to get richer. i would love a black out month in society. a month where not a single person in America buys gas, not a single person goes to a movie, not a single person buys anything. we could all prepare for a month, couldn't we? over half of the american population is in more debt than the money they make in a year...and i'm not kidding. so then people pay people more money they don't have to get out of debt. it actually costs money to get out of debt, isn't getting out of debt a positive thing? something government should be promoting, possibly even promising. this is a huge issue. we can talk about abortion all day, but the government hardly controls that. if a girl wants an abortion, there will be somewhere in this "free" country that she will get it. what i'm saying is no one focuses on the real issues. no one wants to talk about the real issues. and ironic how we all say we live in a "free" country, but nothing about this country is free. i could live in a foreign country for a year, for less than i have to pay in one month to live here. we say free, but honestly, everything we own, which ultimately is nothing since most banks own everything we own, but everything we own...ends up owning us. we work to have nice things, but those nice things are not really luxuries. it is not a luxury to have something nice anymore. its almost a chore.

okay, so maybe i'm a little pessimistic today. this is possible. or maybe i just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. this is also possible. but i am sick of doing the same thing every day. i am sick of wanting so badly to just sit and relax. no phones. no car. no computer. just the calm stilling silence.

Nice thoughts...people are not concerned anymore unless it effects them directly.
