| The Higher Cost of Living Today

With the gas prices continuing to climb everyday when do we say enough is enough. The price of gas, food, electricity, and all our needed products continue to have higher prices. Well with all these prices going up (cost of living) why are our wages not going up and why are so many companies not allowing any cost of living raises?
What is wrong with this picture? Prices continue to climb but our wages stay the same and many companies have a freeze on all wage increases including the cost of living raises!
Once again the rich continue to get richer and the poor and middle class get poorer. (These are my opinions and thoughts and feelings only) but why not tax the rich and give the poor and middle class people a break; or take the rich upper class people and cut their wages and give the low and middle class people a pay raise, lets make it fair across the board for everyone.
Also I have noticed the poor and middle class people work alot harder than the upper class rich people, the rich people have cushy positions and practically just sit on their bottoms and do nothing while the rest of us work our butts off.
