I want to be like my Auntie Ann and Uncle Frank. They had problems, but they loved each other until they died. They bickered but never took it seriously. They had differing opinions. But they wanted each other and loved each other through everything. They chose each other and I don't think either of them ever regretted it.
I want to be like my dog, Samson. He loves unconditionally, nonjudgementally. He gives hugs like there's an inifinte supply. He doesn't play games. When he wants something, he's upfront about it. He cuddles. It's enough for him to be in close proximity to me. And even when he's mad at me, he doesn't hold a grudge. He's forgiving and sweet.
I want a job where I am using my intelligence. I want the job to help make the world a better place. I want to be paid the nonprofit equivalent of my worth (not below my worth). I want to be treated with respect. I want to be thanked for the good, hard work that I do.
I want a family. I want a husband and a kid or two. Boy or girl, boys or girls, I don't care.
I want to be a good mom. I want to set limit and stick to them. I want to provide my children with all the necessities (food, clothes, shelter). I want them to know how to work for what they want. I want them to have a sense of how lucky they are. I want them to know the value of a dollar. I want them to know compassion for people less fortunate. I want them to be confident and smart.
