I am sick to death of waiting. Waiting for my life to actually begin. Waiting for something to change, for the monotony of my life to suddenly reverse. Waiting since junior high to go through that growth spurt my mother promised, where I would get taller, thinner and more attractive. Waiting for a guy who doesn't want me and never will. Isn't it funny that so many things in life are focused around romance, around depending on someone other than yourself? It's as if alone we aren't good enough, we are afraid of being the third wheel, someone who can't fit in like a normal person and get a date. Waiting sucks. Endless hours of dreaming of how your life could and should be, just to end in disappointment. So here I sit, writing this, dreaming, planning, waiting.... |

"depending on someone other than yourself"- I like that line. It says that life is about other people - that life is bigger than us - that in life there exists something bigger that is in essense love.
waiting sucks. forget waiting. read, write, listen, talk, flirt, study, live. As Jason Reeves says "we're all just waiting for our happy accidents." By definition that means that we don't know when things will happen, but we must live in the meantime.
Enjoy your current situations, they only happen once. The future will worry about itself. the only we control is the present - so make the most of every opportunity
