Reading other's blogs
I'm sure I should feel guilty but I've spent over an hour reading other peoples blogs instead of doing something useful. But it is so truly facinating and I am immensely grateful that people are so generous with their ideas, thoughts and poetry. This is better than any library or series of books and I am amazed how very fragile and vunerable thoughts and feelings are shared without hesitation.

I can only share the recurring thought that we bloggers sound so very childlike. I wonder if you agree? Its like if you adopt the voice of an adolescent when you read the blogs, they all make perfect sense in their own way. Perhaps that's what keeps them fresh, that no matter how mature or in control we present ourselves to the outside world, we are in fact, young and curious? What makes me smile mostly are the blogs that express feelings that I find so difficult to express. It's so easy to express love, but anger and helplessness and abject misery are feelings that we are taught to suppress. The sense of the ridiculous in some blogs is such a joy. Yes it is ridiculous to worry about the planet and then buy readymade meals and coca-cola. It is ridiculous to apologize for moaning when your struggling with cancer and it is sheer joy to read your thoughts and feelings.

I am so glad to know that I'm not the only one who puts a voice to the blogs.
It is fascinating to see what other people blog about, their lives, their thoughts, their poems... basically laying it out there for all of us here on Thoughts to read and abe a part of.

I too tend to spend time that I should be working, reading up on the blogs. It's addicting!

i have to agree!!

even though we are adults, we still have to throw our temper tantrums, or whatever, to carry on with the day. we are only human, and we have the right to have any emotion that takes over us. but society has denied us that right. so we are left here, to put our feelings out to strangers so they feel less alone when something happens.

honesty is refreshing. and to know that im not the only one that has emotions, rather then being emotional numb is a nice feeling.

Well... wow you really can speek your mind I argree people like me sometimes don't really express my feelings to other people because you do not know really what the will think. That's the reason why I started a blog.
