i'm in the dark, and i'd like for my international counterparts to help me on this topic. the US electoral primaries have started, and finally, some of the larger issues are coming forth. this election is one of the most important in recent history due to the current trend for "change" in our system. barring my own personal opinions, i'd like to ask those living in a country with socialized medicine how exactly their system works. i've done a little research, and i've viewed the pros and cons on many official websites. i'm trying to understand, from a personal perspective, what universal healthcare is truely like. any experiences or family stories are welcomed. feel free to rant or rave depending on how you view it. i want the truth!
similarly, my fellow americans..  i want to know if you support this move towards socialized medicine? it's a far cry from the current system, and i'd like to know if you think we are ready for this, or is it just media-insisted?
