"There is no present. There's only the immediate future and recent past" ~ George Carlin
i know this might just sound like a drug-fueled rambling, but hear me out. if the present and the future are completely separated, then what distinguishes them? what degree of the present becomes the future? a year? a day? an hour?
if any are to be considered, realize they are nothing more than minutes. tomorrow is often considered the future, and it's only 1440 minutes away. what are you going to do in 10 minutes? you don't know, it's the future. the present is only 1 second long, and we can only predict the past. i say don't live for present, cuz that's already the past. live for the future.
