We are currently developing a system that allows you to choose who can view your posts. Each post will be able to be viewable how you determine, so some posts can be personal, others viewable to family and friends and others viewable to the public. This will be done in a few more weeks. Hope you can wait until then.

We are working on upgrading the mail system and it should be fixed tomorrow. Once fixed, you will see new mail in the "My Controls" area of your blog.

Did you know that you can ctreate a real poll with a built in voting and tracking system? You can do this in the www.thoughts.com/forums/
Create a new thread and at the bottom you will see an option to create a poll. Please give it a try. I think you will see a greater response rate by posting your polls in the forums. If you have ay questions please just let us know.

silla98, your thoughts are not filtered on thoughts.com. Your post was deleted because it contained promotional links to a commercial web site. Thoughts.com is for personal use only. As long as promotional or affiliate links are not left then you should not have anything to worry about.

crate_expectations, we will be sorry to see you go, but sure hope that you change your mind. no matter where you go online there will be controversy and posts about depression, etc. we have many great features lined up for thoughts.com that you won’t want to miss. For example, just today we launched a new forum at http://www.thoughts.com/forums/ . In the next week we are adding more great features and in another month things will really have taken shape. You can bookmark the bloggers that you are interested reading and just skip the rest. We sure hope you reconsider. Thanks for being part of thoughts.com.

This is very strange indeed. Are you typing your blog posts directly into the thoughts.com site? Or are you typing them in another program and then cutting and pasting them here? Are you using a Standard English keyboard or a keyboard with non English characters? If you will please contact us using the bug report form at http://www.thoughts.com/site/contact_form and provide us with as much detail as possible about the process you are going through to make a post we should be able to identify the problem why this is happening with your posts. Thanks for alerting us to this issue. We will work to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Traveler, Yes we do have the ability for you to create categories to place your posts in. Right now the category links are not showing up in your main navigation menu along side your blog archive links, but they will be showing up there within the next week so please be patient. We are in beta stage and adding new features as fast as we can. Giving our members the ability to create categories was a top priority for us, so you can do this with your blog posts, photo uploads and videos as well. We have pre-defined the category sets for the podcasts. Please let us know if you have any suggestions on features you would like to see on thoughts.com. Best Regards...

Hi akadad, we do have a "browse" facility to upload your video files. However, it is running off of a Java program that you must "allow" to run. The issue is that a "security warning" shows up when it asks you to allow the java program to run, and you probably did not allow it to run. It is perfectly safe but we need to get a security certificate for thoughts.com and until we receive that - this "warning" will continue to show up. We are working on getting the security certificate now. Thoughts.com is still in beta development so bugs like this will show up from time to time. Thank you for reporting them to us so we can fix quickly the issues and continue improving the site.

thoughts.com does support video. did you try to upload it here? if not, please uploaded on thoughts.com. if you tried to upload it here and were not able to, please send us a bug report at http://www.thoughts.com/site/contact_form with the details so we can look into it. thanks!
