| Two Truths and a Lie, Vol. I |
This is the first installment of a series of blogs I'd like to call "Two Truths and a Lie." I will post three interesting news stories but one will be fake. It is your job to use the poll above to guess which one is the lie. You will have to stay tuned to the next installment for the answer. Ready? Go.
1. "UN gets recipe for disaster"
A Colonel Sanders impersonator snuck into the United Nations headquarters in New York City recently. The actor, adorned with the trademark white suit and black tie associated with Kentucky Fried Chicken, slipped past security and into a tour. The Col. is even photographed with the UN General Assembly President. It wasn't until he started talking up KFC's new grilled chicken to assembly members that security became suspicious. The popular fast-food chain has been writing to the UN to get "Grilled Nation" accepted as a member state.

2. "Balloon Boy could get own reality show"
It seems that The Learning Channel is giving Richard Henne his wish. After a brief stint on ABC's Wife Swap, and a Balloon Boy hoax worthy of Orson Welles' applause, the Henne family could be getting their own reality show called "The Mad Scientists." The show will document the family's off-the-wall experiments that they conduct from their home. A storm chaser by day, Richard Henne calls himself the "working-man scientist" and includes his family in all his experiments. The Learning Channel and the Henne's are still in negotiation on the contract.

3. "Bald bears baffle zoo"
A zoo in Germany is mystified over what's been causing their female spectacled bears to lose nearly all of their hair. The bears normally have thick coats of fur but now are somehow practically bald, making their skin look like that of an elephant. While caretakers investigate a possible genetic defect causing the hair loss, visitors to the zoo have come out in droves to catch a glimpse of the bald wonders.
