Ideas for IPod use in the History Classroom

As a teacher of secondary social studies, I am always looking for new ways to incorporate modern day technology into the classroom.  A year ago I began using Apple's IPod in my classroom and have found many uses for it.  Besides the use of music that I have been able to load into the IPod, I am able to use its video feature to share videos only available on the internet and to share webcasts with my students.

I have enjoyed using the IPod in my classroom and eagerly await the opportunity to hear from others who have found various uses for it as well.  I would like to share my personal success stories with other educators and learn from the teaching techniques and methods of others.

hi thom!
i think that sort of originality in the classroom is fantastic - good for you!
there are some other teachers on this site who are using it to help their students learn writing skills - maybe seek them out....
have you seen the ipod 'touch'? that is one HOT little device! but sooo expensive... :o(
good luck!
