| AN UNGODLY "CHRISTIAN" NATION

I went to Sedona, AZ last month for vacation and, while there, visited a church that turned out to be a circus. It came complete with gibberish-speaking (by a woman [1 Cor 14.34], only one person doing it [1 Cor 14.27], and with no interpretation [1 Cor 14.28]), uncontrolled sobbing, loud laughter, two women pastors [1 Tim 2.12], extra-Biblical “prophecy,” and a strong affinity for the so-called Lakeland revival (which is totally unbiblical and even blasphemous at times—check it out yourself on Youtube).
The pastor’s wife (a co-pastor, BTW) gave a prophetic utterance which, as is typical of this strain of Christians, promised victory over demonic forces, a great army of God marching out to all the world to defeat the forces of the devil and, of course, God’s blessings upon “all of us.”
Why are all these “prophecies” always the same? They’re just like horoscopes. And why do they never come true? I’ve been hearing the same type stuff for about 25 years now—why don’t they tell the truth?
Why don’t they ever speak of God’s impending judgment against America and its so-called churches? The churches in America are literally to blame for the sin-situation in this country!
Christians (or should I say, church-goers?), for the most part, don’t actively oppose abortion (oh, they’re “pro-life,” until they daughters get pregnant), excuse gross sin in their very midst, actually finance blasphemy in movies (by going to them) and, worst of all, don’t give a rip that most of their family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire.
It’s amazing—many, many so-called Christians will actually vote pro-abortion in the upcoming election (they’ve already said so!) They not only tolerate, but enjoy and laugh at actors using God’s name in vain in movies and on TV.
Judgment from God must and will begin with the household of God, and we deserve it! God means business, and He don’t play!
I feel (and I’m not prophesying, BTW) that God will judge the USA severely, perhaps with more and more ungodly leaders, perhaps with economic depression, maybe with higher and higher gas and food prices, maybe with famine, or more floods and tornados.
Every way I look at it, America deserves it! My mother-in-law’s church is currently planning to build a gymnasium (oops, I mean a “family life center”). I guess they have more money than they know what to do with.
Why not rather fund missionaries in Bangladesh, the Maldives, or the mountains of Viet Nam? Why not buy a bunch of Gospel tracts and mail to every single house in Florida? Why not buy food (or gas) for the poor, or build a homeless shelter?
This is so typical of American “Christianity”/church-ianity It’s sickening and deserves the wrath of God!
Viva Cristo Rey!

yes, well, God bless you, too, my angry friend. thank God that He is ultimately patient with His children, even the ones who lose sight of the message sometimes. why don't you start the "first church of judgementalism" and maybe people like you can all get together and talk about your mother-in-laws and their churches. and thank you for exposing us to your giving and encouraging heart.

MINISTERING ANGELS
The Bible makes it very clear that we are to send the angels out to fight for us, for they have much more power than us mere mortals. For all the problems that we face are orchestrated by the evil unseen principalities and powers, which seeks constantly to destroy us.
The Lord said to me, “ that one of His angels has enough power to deal with all my troubles,” and yet He assures me that He has multitudes ready to swing into action on our behalf, when we give the command for them to fight. Have you commanded them today to fight for you?
The Lord recently has spoken to me, and said, “Where my angels are, there is my presence.” He said angels must fight the powers of darkness, man cannot defeat such powers, angels will rescue you from all evil.
Never ask an angel for help ,never pray to them, never seek to converse with them, unless they speak to you a message that has been given to them by our Lord. Angels are servants of God and His children. God has provided strength for us by these angelic beings.
When Christ was on this earth in His human form He needed strength, just like we do today, and God sent one of His angels to strengthen Him. So that He could obtain salvation for us.
When you need strength, then command angels to bring you strength from your heavenly Father, in fact you can command angels to bring anything that you have asked your Father for. For example, health, wealth, deliverance, peace, etc.
Now, some people are very confused about pictures or statues of angels, thinking that it is forbidden in the Bible to look upon such things, but in fact what the Bible says is that we must not bow down and worship images. For these visual aids actually help us to see that there is more to this world than the physical realm.
Bible tells us that our warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. So, we must use the angelic powers from God, to deal with these unseen powers by commanding angels.
I hope that you use these spiritual warfare secrets that the Lord has shown me. Once you begin to enter this realm of believing there is no going back, you must send angels out every day, to fight the evil spirits of infirmities, which is sickness and disease, the spirit of uncleanliness, which is the evil lusts, in mind and deed.
The spirit of poverty, which are evil attacks on your finances, and anything else that you could possibly think of where you need help.
Most important of all, every day we must repent, and live in the victory, that Christ Jesus has saved us.

Well, there's a few things I feel I disagree with...
Firstly, allow me to say that I can understand your frustration. It's irritating to look out on the world and see the state that it's become.
But you need to get a few facts straight first. Fine if you don't agree with women being pastors. But there is a difference between being a pastor and being a leader in the church. For an example, look at the story of the Christ's Resurrection. He appeared to Mary of Magadala first. Not to Peter, to whom he said he would build the church upon.
Next, I am pro-life, and if my daughter get's pregnant that's between her and God. (I don't have one yet, though I want one)
But, in my elections here in Canada, I still vote on the left side of the spectrum. I don't think abortion is the place of the politicians. It's between a woman, her doctor, her conience and whatever personal God she believes in.
Also, the lady who spoke at the church is correct. God's army will lead his people to victory over sin, and death and Hell. It happened on the Cross. i.e. "It is finished." You have to take into account that God exists outside a time line. He exists in all three states, Past, Present and Future. That's why the Greek Orthodox thank God for the brith, death, ressurection and second coming of Christ all in the past tense.
Also, you're being a tad luricrious. My prices are as high as anyone in America's right now. They're even higher in Britin. Your gas prices are too high? Mine are too. Your food is too expensive? Mine is too. But you're saying that this is the work of a vengeful and wrathful God. Which, quite simply isn't true.
God is a God of mercy. It doesn't make him angry when we sin. It hurts him, deeply, because it drives us further from him. It saddened him so much that he sent His Son to die.
This is proven in many ways, but here are two examples:
Jesus as the fulfillment of the law: Matthew 5:17 ""Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."
And Colassians 2:14 "having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross."
Next is Jesus as the intervener between ourselves and God. God's wrath HAD to be poured out. But Isaih says "But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed." This means that those who trust in God, need not fear that wrath. So, to say that America is being punished for the way some people act is insane.
Jesus did what he did to save those who were willing to follow him, and to give those who were unsure time to choose him before the Final War.
As to the using "Oh my God" in movies, and that I'm funding blasphamey by seeing those movies? Well, I have no biblical way to reject that. I don't agree with people saying "Oh my God," or people saying "Jesus Christ." But you know what?
Not going to see that movie isn't going to prevent it from being said. It's not affecting me, or my actions by someone else saying it, and I can only be responsible for myself.
I've never felt convicted by God to leave a theatre because someone said "Oh my God." I've felt convicted to leave because of excessive violence, gratouitous sex, and extreme language. It's odd that you wouldn't mention those.
As to your claim that a chruch has too much money....well, my church just did renovations. We essentially rebuilt the entire inside of the church. We also fund missionaries at native reserves north of here, Hondouras, China, Tibet, the Ivory Coast, Egypt...and several other countries.
Why is it wrong for a church to have a gymnasium for children to play in? Are you that angry that you can't see the benefit of that?
Example: My former church had no Gym. We built one to house areas for church meals, the ALPHA program (young-adult outreach), and even VBS. And, by the way, the first VBS saw anywhere from 3-5 families in the area saved.
My current church bought ballhockey equipment. Nets, sticks, balls etc. To get the kinds in the area exposed to our Faith. I'd hardly call that a waste of money.
The older folks in my church constantly give more than the 10% asked for by God in tithe. And they give it DIRECTLY to the Youth Pator and tell him "here, this for our kids. Take them somewhere for a weekend where they can learn more, and have fun."
Back to the lady at the church you dislike. For the record, I'll state again, she's right. What she's saying isn't prophecy of her own. It's God's prophecy. Read revelation. If that's not God's victory over sin, death, hell, demons and giving us his lasting, eternal blessing, than nothing is.
There's nothing wrong with crying, and out pouring to God. Infact, the Bible states that when we are lost for words, the Holy Spirit will intervene for us.
Job tore his robe, let out a loud wail and worshiped when his children died.
There is nothing wrong with laughter in the church, or celebration. If you think I'm wrong, look at King David in 2nd Samuel.
"It was before the LORD, who chose me rather than your father or anyone from his house when he appointed me ruler over the LORD's people Israel—I will celebrate before the LORD. I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes."
I say let loose! Raise a glorious cheer and shout before the Lord. Dance, sing, celebrate, praise, proclaim, bow down, worship, prance, skip, LAUGH OUT LOUD! God has won the vicotry, we are FREE.
Do you understand that brother? WE'RE FREE TO BE LIKE THIS! God did the impossible We couldn't do it. Jesus intervened. He chose Mary to proclaim that he had risen! He sent Paul to the Gentiles (of which you are one, btw) He set David's heart to cheer and dancing.
What you are is angry for something that I cannot comprehend, and I will not allow it to interfere with my worship of His most HOLY name.
You have judged, when it is not your place to judge. It is one thing to rebuke a fellow Christian and say "You need to understand something, here, look at what God says."
It's another thing entirely to say "You! You're wrong, and it's because of you all this has happened."
Do I think that our actions are without consequence? NO! But that is the beauty of God's ultimate plan! I'm saved! I'm under the blood of Jesus himself!
Do you understand how that makes me feel! I'm excited just typing this. I love it when I feel this way, to know that I'm loved by God. I've felt so overwhelmed by him, even during my alone time with him, that I've wept for my sin, and wept for my greatfulness at his touch.
He is MY strong Father. MY personal God. He loves me. That....the right there is the amazing truth. He is a God of love. Not a God of Fury. Certainly he has been and will be. But it is perfect, just, righteous fury. And it's not something he does out of malic. He rebukes as a Father rebukes.
And now, as a Brother whom I love in Christ, I rebuke you, and ask you to examine how you approach a situation. Instead of doing with with righteous fury, do it with a righteous love.
Not everyone is going to worship as you do. But worship is worship. If it's with cymbols, tamberines, trumpets, voices, feet, hands, song, guitars, drums. Our unquenchable woriship is pleasing to the ears of God.
God Bless you, Brother. For I feel that you are a Brother in Christ. In the adapted words of Paul. Stay strong, finish the race and keep the Faith.
May the Lord keep you.
