Your'e Still Here (Always Near)
when i first saw you
i didn't think
you were anything special
but as we got know
each other
you gradually opened
up your heart to me
showing me
the real you
and i feel in love with you
the real you
not the dude that you
pretend to be everyday
you seemed to like me too
but then one day
i herd on the news
that there had been
an eight car wreck
and your name was
among the list of dead
i broke down crying
and i stoped eating
with you dead
i had nothing to live for
monthes went by
and i just kept getting worse
then one night
you came to me
in a dream
you told me that you loved me
and that you wanted me
to continue on living
living for you
i promised you that i would
and told you that
i loved you too
and then i awoke
i had a will to live again
and i owe that to you
thank you
you may be dead
but i feel you here
with me everday
allways near
but yet still so far away |
