We, the Salt of the Earth, Take Precedence

By Paul Craig Roberts

The slaughtering of foreigners doesn’t seem to bother the American public. Americans take it for granted that Americans are superior and that American purposes, whatever they be, take precedence over the rights of other people to life and to a political existence independent of American hegemony.

The plight of those who wish to live in America as an escape from the tyranies of their own country should perhaps look to the example of other activists within their own land to effect change. The Mexican people are blessed with a rich cultural heritage , a resource rich country and selfish rich men running them via drug cartels. America will help you with stradegies to create a government that will be more attentive to the people of Mexico. All they have to do is ask for help. America is poised for change and it is the will of the people that will bring success or failure. So it is with other peoples of other lands. The strength of the will and persistance of the people. That is what brings democracy.....and the loss of will, persistance or laziness loses democracy.
