| I have a Masters in Theology and have a numbers of friends that are of the Islamic faith. Although some mullahs may teach he was used by Allah as a prophet...it is hard for them to swallow as he is of the seed of Issac.. not Ishmel. I have never heard any that believed he was born of a virgin as that would put his conditions of his birth above Muhammad. I called a friend..from Lebanon, who married my best frinds daughter...and he confirmed the same. Any miracles they say he did are carefully selected as to not make him appear to be elevated above Muhammad. Although they DO believe that the Romans crucified Jesus... they DO NOT believe in his ressurection. They also only believe in the authority of the Bible up to the expulsion of Ishmel and Haggar out from among Abrahams family. After that they pick and choose. Muhammand took what he wanted from both Christanity in the 6th century...and from the Old Testament Tenach and Tulmud...and then added the rest. |

| Thank You for the additional information. I think It's very important to clear up any misconceptions about the differences in the three main religions, so whatever I am able to find, I will continue to publish in hope of opening continued dialogue with all who may be interested, as well as learning more for myself. |

| Journeyman. A Masters in Theology????? What college. Please I am all ears especialy as everything is so easlily gotten on the net. Have they changed it to a few junior college credits or a drop out of Christian smeminary? News to me or anyone else you know. And when was the last Mullah you had over for dinner. Especially after your wholle Post-9/11 opinion that we should turn the entire middle east into a parking lot via nukes. Yeah, you have a great tolerance of Muslims and unfortunetly for you, your god didn't say it's ok to lie. |
