| President Bush Backs Israeli Plan

for Strike on Iran

Despite the opposition of his own generals and widespread scepticism that America is ready to risk the military, political and economic consequences of an airborne strike on Iran, the president has given an “amber light” to an Israeli plan to attack Iran’s main nuclear sites with long-range bombing sorties, the official told The Sunday Times.

I saw this on Newsmax andheard it on NPR radio. I contacted Senator Bill Nelson's office and asked to speak to someone on staff knowlegable on foreign matters. Got a call later in the day. He was unaware of the article which he printed out and said he would bring to the attention of the Senator. This is nothing more than an end run around the war declaration power of Congress by King George 11.

Of course it is...the one who said that the constitution is nothing more than a g**d*** piece of paper has little respect for the way our government is SUPPOSED to work. Yet those we've elected to balnce this power seem to be doing little to stop this man. We need to take the responsibility upon ourselves and get rid of the whole bunch and elect new officials at every level.
