i was intoxicated with the smell of you
drunk with touch of you
and i held you to my body and found you warm
I was cold, yet again
I was dizzy with the sight of you and wished I could have you
I was mesmerized by the sound of your voice and wished I could hear you
I was blind and deaf, yet again
I made a mistake twice over and i can't take it back
but, that's what they're for
I felt your heat and I wanted it right then to warm my body all over
and now, I'm left
cold again with nothing to show for my temporary warmth.
So I was cold again and my toes were blue and yet again I want the warmth of you
I'm a sucker, I should really get out of the cold
