A New Week
Today marks the beginning of a new week....

The weekend was great!  Jeff and I got out on Friday night and had a nice romantic dinner, just the two of us.  We ordered a pizza for our youngest son JJ and his friend that was spending the night.  Waited for it to arrive and then out the door we went.  We've never done that and I must say it was so nice, it was almost like we were on a date.  We sat at the table and had a normal conversation for a change, had a wonderful dinner and then of course headed back home.  It was just a nice change from what has become seemingly routine in our world.

Saturday I went and did some shopping and Jeff went and bought all new parts to build me a new computer.  It runs so nicely now I can't believe it.  We didn't really do a whole lot aside from that but that's because most of what we did took up so much of our time.  I did make homemade Chile Verde smothered burritos, spanish rice and beans with chips for dinner.  That's not like me either...the weekends usually come with a fend for yourself night.

Sunday I got up and did some cleaning, did a little more shopping and got all of the laundry done.  Fun stuff!  Once all of my chores were done I sat outside with Jeff while he bbq'ed buffalo wings.  One of our absolute favorites, had an early dinner and then all four of us settled in and played an online game for a few hours.  That was so much fun!  We have a motto..."a family that slays together, stays together".  Ahahahaha!!!  It was a great time and though we weren't sitting around the kitchen table playing a board game, we were all in the same room for the most part just playing on line.   It might sound odd but it really was quality time.

Well that about wraps up my weekend...noticing the clock, it's time for me to take a shower and get ready for work...
