If you read many of my blogs then you know Carlos and I are "passive" swingers. We have what you would call a very closed group of friends that we socialize with about once a month. Once in a while we meet other couples through our friends and "blind date" you might say. Some times it works out and other times it's the pits. We used to really swap a lot and go to the private clubs in Atlanta almost every weekend. With the boys growing up and Carlos getting to be an old fart of 40, we had to slow down and get a lot wiser about our lifestyle. Our closed group of friends is only 4 couples now and we may not see some couples but twice a year or so. We have rules like no solo meets with other spouses. Threesomes are cool only if the fourth spouse approves. Don't get the friction lotion yet!! All these arrangements are somewhat rare now a days like I explained. I do have a female "bud" that I meet some times during the day about once a month but other than that we are more conservative. We did the web cam a few times and that was a major mistake! Now a days we entertain at a nice Atlanta hotel rather than our homes cause of kids and family. We used to have hot tub parties all the time but now the neighborhood is more congested and the issue of visiting family comes up. Swinger resorts have always been fun and are the closest thing to open attitudes but like everything else the cost for that type of mini vacation is out of the question. We, along with our family, are getting older and some times my sofa and TV are more inviting than having two sweating, gropping middle age guys crawling all over me all night long.....most times, anyway.
