The Need To Be Perfect

I never ever felt the need to be perfect unlike some people. Nor have I ever felt the need to spell correctly or have my grammar up to par. I do the best that I can. The most important thing to me is the message not the spelling or grammar.
I guess if you can understand what I was trying to say enough to criticize my spelling or my grammar, then I guess I have succeeded in what I was trying to do. And that was getting my message across.
I often wish I processed the writing skills that many have in here.
I do envy those whose grammar and spellingĀ is beyond mistakes.
But to some, not all, being perfect brings out other character flaws.
If your need to be perfect causes you to constantly correct, scold, and or belittle those that don't process the " gifts " that you do then I'm thinking that your not as well off as you think you are.
So climb down from your ivory tower, join us common folk.
Do what you do as best as you can but don't ever stop others from doing what they do because its not as perfect as you like it to be.
so until I blog at your again,
take good care of yourselves,
and each other....templar

I agree with you templar. I am originally from another country and there everything has to be perfect. I am here in the US because "us common folk" look at things different. We care about each others feelings and don't need to constantly worry about things like clothes or hair. I am tired of people who want to be perfect. And even those people have imperfections. Especially in their personality and the way the come off to someone. I am in Retail and see a lot of those perfect people making mistakes, very dumb ones at times. Why don't you have this product? Well, maybe other shoppers already have bought it. Hello, here is your sign.

Besides I think your writing skills are great.
