The kind word. The best advice I have. The shoulder to either lean on or cry on. I can pick you up, dust you off, wipe your tears and gently push you forward.
I can encourage you, defend you, praise you, guide you.
I can walk with you, stand with you, carry you and deflect the blows from you.
But, now, in my time of need, I stand alone.
I look and see nobody.
I call out but hear no answer.
I walk on but walk alone.
Its been that way all my life. No reason for it to change now.
Still one would think that I would be used to it but I'm not.
I guess that could be a good thing cause nobody will see the tears.
No body gets to see the guy who all his life has attempted to help whenever he could but never gets any help in return.
Am not one to ask for help, thinking those that know me would realize. But they don't or choose not to see.
Still tomorrow is another day and I'll " soldier on" like I'm done almost all my life.
so, until I blog at you again,
take care of yourselves,

I suppose that's really a combination of the hermit and the magician... but to me they are one and the same, aspects of each other.
