I was looking at some pictures in the " threads" just now.Some beautiful children and grandchildren.
The parents and grandparents must be very proud.
But I find it hard looking at times because of my situation.
Being a dad to three sons and a grandfather to two ( that I know about).
By no means is this sours grapes to those that have, its just its hard knowing I also have but can never post my pictures for all to see.
I'm a lucky guy in a few areas and I'm truly thankful but the one thing that is missing is the one thing I find as I get older that I need the most.
Everyone says " they'll come around". Well I'll never see it.
The river is too deep and the valley too wide.
I'll never forget cause I'm a dad. But they have forgotten me for the same reason.
Oh well, nothing I can do about it other then hope that the pain gets more and more bearable.
Sorry this has been such a " downer" but even knights have their moments.
