From 1 to 3000

As promised.
I was blogging on another site. I had only just started to blog. I wasn't getting too many replies, so I shopped around and found " thoughts." That was in March of 08.
My first user name was " blogger_53 " and first picture was a big yellow happy face.
After a while I wanted to change it but thoughts couldn't transfer my account to another.
With my blogger _53 I was a senior member so really I'm at about 3200 posts.
I changed my user ID to templar knight because it matched a very special interest I have.
As I started all over again, I met many people through this and I consider them to be my friends.
I'd name them but I would most likely leave out one or two and since I hate to offend, I'm not going too.
Oh yes I've also me a couple of " spelling bee champs and grammar know it alls " and I've put them on my ignore list because I haven't got time for people who think their shit don't stink.
So 99.9% of the people I've connected with in here are just simply the greatest.
I think " thoughts " rounded up all the good people and put them into this site.
These people are always offering support, advice and prayer to those who may have a need.
I have enjoyed many a debate with a lots of people.
Some have got me to rethink my position on certain things while they all at least got me to look at another point of view.
I don't always agree but neither do they but I feel that the respect shown toward each other can conquer all.
It's not hard to get to 3000 when you enjoy the site as much as I do.
Some posts are short, some are longer.
Some of my blogs are meant to heighten levels of awareness.
One thing I was able to do here was blog a multi part series about my life. I had some very serious issues about a number of things and had no safe place to unload them. I did so in here.
What surprised me was all the positive feedback and support from these wonderful, often faceless people.
My only wish is I would like to meet them all, look into their eyes and thank them for that support. It meant the world to me.
In closing, I'd like to be around for another 3000 and I'll try hard to be but for now its important that you people, the ones that cheered me up when I was down, the ones who lent me their shoulder to cry on, those who gave me their very best advice they could for no other reason other then the fact that they cared, to all you people I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
You will never know just how much you've impacted on my life.
Its good to know there are people like you still in this world.
May your God bless you and your family and may you have all things good for the rest of your lives.
Now.....on to the next 3000.

		Aww, that's very sweet, Templar. The way you're going, another 3000 will be nothing! :P I've felt the same way about the thoughts community, the abundance of lovely, well meaning, caring, thoughtful people never cease to amaze me.
