It was once said by someone that " everyone has a dark side ".
I take the dark side to mean a evil side.
I suppose I do or I did.
When I was younger, I was always the one that smaller kids would seek out to help them with a bully.
I never had any fear about bullies, I never was bothered myself.
Again. when I was younger, I stole some candy from the corner store.
Yes, was a "bad ass".
In my late teens, I was close to some bikers. You know the kind where their life was all sex, drugs, booze and rock and roll.
Well I was just starting out in a band so I related to the rock and roll part but the other stuff, well not for me.
Guess I wasn't so bad after all.
Then in my early 20's I got real bad, I stopped playing hockey, had a family to support, had to deal with a wife that cheated.
Boy was I a real bad dude.
Now that I'm older I spend my time doing things I enjoy, helping when I can, things like that. Hmmm that doesn't sound like a "bad dude " does it ?
I guess what I'm trying to say here is, I really don't know what a " dark side " is. So how could I ever know if I had one ?
Well I'll guess I'll go a take my ladies last bagel for breakfast.

Well from what I've read, whatever your past, you have a great sense of fair play and concern for others now. And that speaks well of you.

Great post. I find it hard to believe that there are people out there who have never done something which might be construed as "bad" at the time. We are all human and humans are full of imperfections. (And, anyway, saints are boring!)
