Every day I listen to the news and read the paper.
Hoping to find good news on the front pages or as the " lead off "story on the nightly.
But I should know better, good doesn't sell.
I'm starting to wonder if people just can't handle "good ".
When was the last time the evening news lead off story was full of good news ? When was the last time the front page of your paper had a good news story on it ?
I bet most of you can't remember cause I can't.
I listen to the radio as I drive to my p/t job in the mornings. Most days I'm upset by the time I get there.
At some point during the day, I'll get a paper and the result is the same.
Perhaps T.V. and newspapers should put all the good news on the front pages or at the beginning of the telecasts so people would feel good for a change.
They could put all the bad crap in the back pages or in the second hour of the news.
Would people still watch the news or buy the paper ?
I bet they wouldn't.
Even though we whine, bitch, complain about all the bad things going on in the world, most of us would still need our " fix " of bad to get through the day.
Well I guess that stuff gives us something to whine, bitch, or complain about.
So I guess, it does serve a purpose after all.

morning news i used to have it on, dead little girl found in a ditch, another child abuse story, i cry my oldest said to me, mom just turn it off so you wont get upset, i said you are rite son, i listen to worship music instead, if i cry it will be tears of JOY,,,, so true so true,,

This is why I seldom watch or read the news. Besides, they have a tendancy to blow things way out of perportion.
