 Just When I Think ...
God isn't anywhere to be found, He shows up.

I know that God is always there.  He's proven it in His word.  I know that He would never leave me ... He said so, himself.

But, this morning I woke up and just felt like I was on my own.  But you know, that is what I get for thinking!

You see my dear son this morning, grabbed a pen off of my desk.  I tried my best to grab a hold of him before he managed to get away ... but he just slithered right out of my hands.  Of course, to him it was nothing more than a game.  To me, it was oh gessh ... no, no, no!

Well he ran into the other room with me on his heals. Right before I got to him, he tripped and fell right onto the pen.  He just missed his eye.  Thank God, He was looking out for us.  He also was answering a prayer I pray frequently for my children.   His arm of protection surround them.

I know, I shouldn't have had the pen on my desk.  I was right there with it, and  I wasn't done using it.  I didn't think anything of it.  Until he grabbed on, and my heart sank.

He missed his eye, it's nice and sparkling white.  Praise God.  He is good all the time!  He does have a little gash ... and I know God will take care of that too.

So tonight, is a different type of entry.  It's a praise to the Mighty God who cares enough to protect our children when we feel He isn't anywhere nearby. Thanks be to God, He is there all the time whether I feel Him or not.  It's a promise we can count on!

Wow wee... I'm glad your son's eye was protected by God. I had a similar incident with my daughter when she was about 2. She had to get stitches though. That was as traumatic as poking just below her eyeball when she fell.

Praise God he's ok.
