Running a red light on 2008-02-29 14:34:02 |

I don't mind people on the phone as much as them holding the phone and talking. I mean, to me it's like talking to your passenger in the car (if you have a headset). The act of holding the phone seems to do damage to the brains way of saying you are driving a car. People don't think. They don't realize that in a split second other people's lives (including theirs) are ruined. It's scary.

How sad. We sometimes forget just how good we have it. I don't know how anyone could sleep out wide open like that though. I'd be scared to death!

God's grace sustains us. It empowers us, it holds us. Thank God for His amazing grace! Thanks for sharing. We also heard a message on grace. Seems like a lot of people needed to hear it, I know I did! Thanks Dev for reinforcing!

I have a few online friends that I have had for ages and ages. If we were to meet in person it would be like we have known each other all our life. It's very real. But it's not another life for me, it's all one and the same. Good luck figuring it out for yourself, everyone is different.

I admire you, and I agree with DevtheRev that you are a strong lady! You have got more guts than I do, just by owning a bike. I'd never pick one up and sit on it alone. I hope that you and dh get it worked out. It is a great opportunity for you both to spend time together doing something you love. I pray he sees where you are coming from, and is more understanding than he has been!

I'm glad to come and see that you two have discussed it. You have today, move forward. Live each moment like it's your last. Love like you have never loved ... all easier said than done (I too know this) Maybe you both can do something special together ... an after Valentine treat, and celebrate your togetherness.

I love this quote. Thank you. You know forgiveness isn't always a feeling, sometimes we have to mentally choose over and over, and one day ... it's not so bad. I know I'm not doing the greatest job of explaining tonight ... but that is what I have found. Forgiveness is a process. I am agreeing with Greensky that the Lord will be with you and bless you and help you to succeed in being all that He wants you to become!

God is good about the weather! Someone else must have prayed for rain? :) How frustrating, out there with stop watches. Why in the world does that matter? We seen 89 year olds take a month to parallel park all the time. I'm sure you didn't take that long!!!

He will see you through. That is the downside to written word, it isn't always written or taken as it is meant. I'm sad to hear of yet another occurance where people fail to read what is truly being said, and as a result people are hurt. God is awesome, he can work good through this situation. I can do all things ... great!

It ate my comment. My father in law went there to distribute Bibles and the pictures that he brought back were ... well there isn't a good word. It was humbling to see the conditions in which they live. They don't have a many clothes, no shoes, the grass huts (are amazing, but not houses like we know them), it was an eye opener for me. I loved to hear him tell of them welcoming them into the villages. Sounds like a great trip! I would love to visit a remote village some day. Thanks for sharing your experience.

ever wonder why on 2008-02-06 00:24:57 |

I have pondered this many times. I know one of these people. My conclusion is that I think after a time they become desensitized to the truth. They actually believe the lie is the truth. The fine line gets lost in their minds ... It's pretty sad. They hurt people, and they don't even realize it!
