View Blog    Sax idol passes away at 80 yrs old Homer "Boots" Lewis Randolph the greatest and first major popular sax player passed away yesterday at 80 yrs old. I grew up emulating his sound and admiring his style. He was instrumental in my performance style. God Bless and rest in peace.
