Well, I should start off by saying my friend Mickey is about to get a boyfriend and his name is Ellis. Ellis texted me last night (he got my number from Mickey borrowing my phone to text him) asking me if he could talk to me. He then called my cell and we talked for 45 minutes. We texted practically all night and a lot this morning. Mickey is sad because she thinks he will leave her for me because we have a lot in common and he has talked to me way more than he has any of her other friends. What she doesn't know is that i have a crush on him now. We were talking to each other like we'd known each other our whole lives. He asked me if i thought he was attractive and i asked him and we both said yes. We sent each other a picture of ourself so that we could know who was calling. Mickey had called me up sometime last night and said that if we ended up really talking to each other, she would beat both our butts up. I told her i wouldnt do that to her and what happens? I start liking him. I'll just have to get over him. It sucks and it'll be hard but i can be good friends with him...right?

This sounds so familiar.
I am with the same man that I met in High School, when I was 14.
He was my friend's crush.
My best friend's crush.
She was too afraid to talk to him, so she made me pretend to be her....and made me call him.
One night in our little game, I was pretending to be her and I was telling him how much I liked him and wanted to be with him.
He asked me if I really meant it.
He said, "Good Jennifer, I am glad that you really mean it, I knew it was you all along."
We fell in love over those calls.
He is still my husband today.
I lost my best friend over it, and I regret hurting her, I still love and think about her.
Even at our High School reunion in 2000, she brought me stealing him from her up.
You are going to hurt Mickey very badly, you will probably lose her.
On the other hand, you may lose the love of your life.
I cannot tell you what to do, but I believe all is fair in love and war.
I do not regret my husband, but I do regret the pain I put Michelle through.
Just know, either way, you will be the one getting hurt here, no matter what you choose.
Be strong.
Do not let it steal who you are.
