| A New Take on Everything |

Find a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life. I read that on a plaque that this fast food store had put up. Purportedly, it was Confucius who had made that observation. A long time has passed since that fateful evening when I smiled at what a clever statement that was; I distinctly remember that right then I was relishing my snow cone with my mom, her sister and my cousin at Candy Floss. Some things, however insignificant in hindsight, tend to stick with you.
So coming back to what Confucius had to say: just before I sat down to author this blog entry; I had one of the most fulfilling training sessions ever. I had fun, I was sharp, I had fun, I trained hard, I had fun, I felt good and I had fun. I don’t usually enjoy training quite as much, and resultantly don’t put in my 100%, and the outcome is lackluster performance. This time around I trained just as hard, if not harder, but made sure I was having a good time along the way. I am utterly enthralled at how good I feel. I now draw a parallel with my new found passion of blogging. I especially like how the whole world is able to follow my thoughts and my life as I express myself freely (as freely as I ever may hope to). It’s just that at times, I look at putting my thoughts into words a rather cumbersome chore; one that I often force myself to accomplish. Well, I won’t any more. I hope by writing only when I feel like writing, I will do justice to the concept of expressing myself without inhibitions. Wish me luck!
