Metaphors - have your never heard of them - and I guess my working 12-14 hours each day 6 days week doesn't produce anything.....don't forget there are "liberal" radio talk show host, although we maybe hard pressed to find many, or any, of quality.

Since I don't know you, I have no idea what you produce during your 12-14 hours each day. I assume you have a meaningful job that contributes something to society, and I commend you for working hard. I think that even menial labor should be respected. I appreciate the waiter or waitress, the janitor, the teacher, the doctor, anyone who works at a legal job or profession. What I was criticizing Boortz for is his arrogance and his condescending attitude toward other people, as well as his assumption that everyone else just lies around all day doing nothing while only HIS "work" is valuable.

Yes, he is just hot air--but I think it's important to listen to such blowhards because they are dangerous and they influence a lot of listeners, who jump to agree with him without ever considering other angles. Unlike so many right-wingers who listen ONLY to people they already agree with, I want to know what these characters are up to. I think it is wise to "keep friends close, but keep enemies even closer."
