all i wanted was you.
She thought i fabricated my entire paper. Do i use words like incumbent? noncombatant? hamlet? maybe not but i know how to use a g.d. dictionary and thesaurus. is it so incredibly unbelieveable that someone in this godforsaken building would have a vocabulary that contained words larger then two syllables. im not being cocky and i am not disillusioned. i know many 'here' are consistent. average. it wouldnt be a stretch to say they have no motivation to learn. being at school is a chore, knowledge is a burden. so it is not arrogant when i say i might be in the top 5% of this 'class'. not arrogance, just assumption. so i dont know if i can blame her, she's probably just not used to a student picking an assigment and then flying with it. why would i sit at the computer for the 6 hours i am here, listening to some hip-hoppish internet radio station when i can do that home. i WANT to get done with school. i am here to work. and it is insulting for that work to be questioned. i broke it down for her in my works cited page. i italicized the statements in my paper that were direct quotes, numbered the other statements that were just general ideas taken from my sources. i have proven that im not copy/pasting my paper from the internet...god...

I have been there. It is most frustrating to do the thing you've been asked to do and obviously done it well and then to be accused of cheating. When all is said and done, you know the truth and that can't be taken from you.
