| My first official appointment

Tomorrow I meet with my surgeon and the intake specialist. I'll take my list of questions with me and I expect to pay and schedule my surgery.
I cannot believe how nervous I feel. I'm feeling all those anxious feelings that come in the night and cause midnight teeth grinding and daytime nail biting. Except for getting my tonsils out when I was about nine years old, I've never had a scheduled procedure...you know the kind where you can think about it and all the possible complications that can arise. I have had two emergency surgeries related to the delivery of each baby so I know how it feels to be put under and awaken a split second later. Those were easy so I think I'll just try to go with that.
I feel certain that this is a good choice for me, I'm just very worried about getting used to the management of the whole process. Lucky for me I have good support online and through their office.

Dear tadaa,
I am also going under the knife soon.
Guess after my life experiences it doesn't bother me at all. I know the statistics about being under anesthesia and I guess it's because I've been shot, blown up, broken in accidents that it just doesn't bother me about surgery.
What I mostly want to say is; I'm sure you'll do just fine and I can't wait to hear how things are going for you in the next coming months ahead.
