I appreciate your point of view but all of my adult life has been spent doing everything I could find to lose weight and keep it off. Nothing has worked. I chose the lap band because it is reversible and doesn't involve permanent reworking of my internal organs. If it fails me, and unless medicine finally figures out a way to help me, I'll die a fatty. (posted in
