this is a start .. a new start ..
new hobby. new career. new goal. 

new hobby - sailing. i'm hooked. no doubt about it. there's a certain calmness and peacefulness that comes with being on the sea. i'm proud of it. started out by sailing with strangers .. no foundation, no experience. just hopped onto a boat and worked together as a team. been doing great stuff so far. i can only hope to continue improving ... practise makes perfect. or so the wise one once said. hehe .. now, i'm torn .. do i sail to get to know people .. or do i sail because i like it? if it's the latter, i should sail with good skipper ... a skipper whom allows me to learn and do the hard work. so? decide.

new career - advisory. yep .. finally leaving audit after 7 fantastic years. as in all things in life, there were of course the ups and downs but what came out of it ... a life-long lesson that one can never learn from the classroom and which was made invaluable as the 4.5 years were from PwC KL - oh yea. it still amazed me at how far i've reached these past 4.5 years. with advisory, i certainly hope .. no.. i certainly aim to make it further. and grab higher poles. not just title wise, but in grooming myself as an individual too. new career brings hope .. for it allows you to start afresh .. to paint it on a piece of  clean drawing paper (as say beng had said) .. according to how i want it .. oh yes. life's going to be tough there. as i aim to make it colorful .. not just on memories, but the rewards and the achievement too. i want to make it better. i want to make myself proud. oh yes. that's the goal. to be among the best. :) wish me luck. sorry, i should say ... lets' see how the journey turns out. ;p

new goal - well, it's not exactly a new goal. for i've always wanted to make this change. what is it you may ask? hehe .. well, it's to lose weight. think about it ..  imagine the coolness of being young and having a great body to match it with a fantastic career and a great hobby to compliment it? oh my ... being young with a fantastic career and a whole great future ahead to achieve my dreams... oh yea. that's my vision alright. so, in order to get down the route, i'll have to help myself from now onwards. i certainly hope the guys at get-active can help me achieve this too .. ok. all i need honestly, is discipline! discipline to see through it ..to see through the process. there's bound to be ups and downs.. but i have to be strong for it.

see.. in all things in life, discipline is the key. discipline to see it through. discipline to make the change. discipline to stick with the plan through thick and thin. discipline my friend... is the word. and i have got to bury it swallow it sleep on it and breathe it ... from now onwards. discipline ...breeds focus. focus breeds results..positive results. :) and good results brings confidence. hehe and confidence brings hope. brings greater results. brings greater happiness. definitely good for my soul, eh? :)

so you see .. discipline is the key.

ok... i certainly hope ... there i go .. HOPE + DISCIPLINE = POSITIVE RESULTS = GREATER SUCCESS = GREATER CONFIDENCE = FANTASTIC LIFE!! hope ... lets all start making the small tiny change .. one step at a  time .. change .. for the better. :) oh yea.. change to make myself happy.

and oh ... i'll need discipline now too ... to update this blog entry. hehe ..
