Timing has never been my strong suit.

You know when you get a feeling and for some reason you just really feel it, believe it. Against all odds?
About 2 weeks i got one. I don't know why it was so strong, why i was listening to it, but i am glad i did. It was to stop taking my meds for my diabetes. And i did.

Two days ago, i just had to know why that feeling was so strong, and there was only one reason in my mind for it to bother me as it did. So i stopped and grabbed a pregnacy test. I didn't want to take it right then, i just had to have it. The needing to take it hit me later, but then he came over to spend the night and i didn't want to freak him out so i just didn't take it, nor the next morning, just incase i woke him because of what the result would be, so i waited til i got home from work. The need was just so great to take it. I took it. I saw the solid pink line that was supposed to be there after about 30 secs and no other, but then i remembered we wait 3-5 mins for the result and sure enough, that second pink line crept out. As much as my feeling was, i just couldn't quite believe it. After trying for one, on and off for almost 15 yrs with the hubby and then with the longtime boyfriend and it not happening, why now, after 1 month, not even really, does it happen with one of my best friends? Life is so full of surprises. I'm not even sure i'm accepting of it, as i went out and bought 2 more tests. And just took a second one and sure enough, 2 pink lines.
I told him last night a few hours after i took it. He seemed pretty happy about it. Its just starting to sink in i think. I just needed to let out a bit of... something here. I've been calm and freaking and happy and terrified. I wasn't expecting this quite this soon. Gotta just love my timing, not once great timing in the last 15 years. Or maybe this was perfect timing. I guess i'll just have to wait and see.
