Its been awhile since i last wrote.  Not much has happened in the last while but this weekend started off sucking pretty bad. 

Thursday i worked my ass off at work with my boss, we did some rearranging etc and i was there for 11 hours.  But it was all good, because i knew i was in for a relaxing long weekend.   So i get home 12 hours after i've left, and i'm home maybe 20 mins before i get a call, my nana has to go to emerg, as she has a bleeding nose and it won't stop.  She's been home less then a week from the hospital and now she has to go back, poor thing.  But she's on blood thinners and it needs to be looked at asap.   So  i go with her and another relative to the emerg, and the doc decides it needs to be packed and some blood work done to make sure her blood is thick enough to clot.  So we left after the doc said it wasn't going to be pleasant packing her nose, good thing because we came back and heard that she was screaming etc.   They drew some blood and sent it off to the lab.  Well it comes back 1.5 hours later and the doc looks at the results.... the lab didn't do the one test he wanted done on the blood.  So they came to draw more....  We ended up at the emerg for over 6 hrs and she only got to leave with the promise that someone would spend the night there.   So as i was the only one that could,  though i made no promises that if she needed me i'd be up, as i had been up almost 24 hrs by the time we got back to her place,  i spent the night there.  I didn't mind doing any of it, she's my Nana and i love her, but god i was so tired. I hadn't eaten hardly anything all day, so i didn't take my pills either which always leaves me feelings shitty.

Not to mention the fact he called me, after me asking him not to, only to give me a bit more grief, or so it seemed.  He called as i was grabbing my pj's from home and going back to Nana's.   Apparently he had called me earlier and couldn't get a hold of me, (cell off in hospital and not home)  so left me a message.  My mom told me he had tried calling as well, but she told him i was at the emerg.  Didn't say why though that i know of.  Yet when he does get a hold of me, he doesn't even ask what that was about?  Just wanted to give me a bit of grief, so when we did talk, i just said, if thats all you got to say to me, don't bother calling me back and hung up.

So  i got home, at long last, about 5pm on friday,  after grabbing the kid from co-op and stopping for a long awaited coffee.  The rest of friday was good, we just sat on the couch after supper and vegged,  watched tank girl.   I ran up to the bathroom and of course thats when he decided he would call me back.  I heard the phone ring, and thought someone would yell at me if it was for me, but they didn't.  So then i heard my cell ring, and yet she didn't yell at me either.   I get back downstairs and she tells me it WAS him, but she hung up on him.  I kinda debated on whether to call him back or not, but decided to just let it go for that night, as i was in a good mood by then and just wanted that to continue.  Maybe i should of called him back.  Oh well, too late now.

So then on saturday, just because i didn't want him to think it was me,  i just sent him a message saying it was her, not me.  Who knows if he'll believe it or not.  And tonight i sent him an a short email, so we'll see if i hear from him or not. 

And because i slept so shitty all week, i really slept in on sat/sun, so now its 3:30 am and i have to be up at 5 am, looks like i don't get much sleep today.  Thats ok, i can sleep tomorrow.  And got a doc's appt on tues, so we'll see how well i'm doing then..... Its a good thing i got my test done a few weeks ago because i'm sure the stress from the last few days wouldn't help them any. 

At least this evening was super relaxing and fun.  I took the kid to Mission Island to see the deer there, hoping for a few pics.  Well, we ended up seeing at the very least 60-100 deer, and we snapped alot of pics.  So i went and posted some pics to facebook.  It was nice to just go for a little drive and see some wildlife.  I told her we need to take a weekend off and just pretend we're tourists for the weekend soon and just explorer our city and surrounding area.  She thinks its a good idea, so as soon as it warms up.

We've also pretty much decided where we're going for vacation as well this summer, but thats for another day's post. Needless to say USA here we come!
