| Day #3 of no Effexor in the afternoon! |
|
Sunday. Wet, grey - but everything is sparkling with the first tentative rains of winter in Cape Town. My favourite kind of weather! The kind of weather I would actually pray for when I was a little girl at Kenridge Primary! And when the sun would break through the clouds or the luminous grey mists would evaporate, I'd literally be crushed with disappointment! Ridiculous, I know, but ACTUALLY a fabulous advantage for an African that needs to live in England! And so, the first little house you've chosen for us in little Walgrave is as near to perfect as I could dream of!

And today you did even MORE shopping - getting the house ready for when I finally arrive! You said the bed will arrive on Friday... Sjoe... I cannot BEGIN to tell you what all of this you are doing means to me.
(It's late and I'm exhausted and aching from working all day on The Project (no clues!!) so I think it's time to head off for a long, hot bath with my book - "Digging To America".)
PS. Day #3 of no afternoon Effexor 75mg : only very very mild feelings of withdrawal --- a heavy sort of hollowness in my head, but that's it!! Mom's impressed too!
