today i will let loose, so mind my vulgar expressions today.

valentine can go puck itself literally.!!!!

who the hell invented all this hype surrounding this day. big deal, its a day, get over it. Too much is poured into this one day, to celebrate with the "one true love". great, only great is you have someone you love to celebrate it with. But hey for those who got their hearts smashed into pieces and burnt on sticks. What about those people?

I read somewhere, that there are more depressed people on valentines day than actually happy couples celebrating it. What a fact eh? I am just so agitated with the hype. If it was such a big ordeal, it would be a public holiday and everyone would get paid to do nothing on that day but bathe in the love pool and frolick in the sun laughing with a love ballad playing somewhere in the background.

Again, this is not true. So yet what is the hype about? The need to consume and spend all your little pennies and shower your lover with gifts? Why must there be a day for it? Is valentine's day the only day where you should validate your love? The answer is NO, if your in love you can celebrate it any day. I am not anti- love and am truly happy for those who are fortunate enough to be in love and have it returned. But all I am saying is valentine's day is so over rated everywhere that the need to find someone and be with someone has such importance in society that it makes me feel that I am look down upon, not only having my heart thrown out and smashed.. do I have to feel bad about it too? 

All I am saying, if the day is not a public holiday, its not that big of a deal and don't take your love ones for granted and think only valentines day is the day to show your affection. If you truly are in love and happy, everyday should be special. And for those singletons, hopefully you are happy and the truth is you may not be because of freaken society and the stupid ridiculous hype, but still do something on that day for yourself..
