Intolerance and violence make me angry
I watched Oprah today.  There was a special about gays around the world.  I respect her for interviewing many powerful gay people, but what about the others?  The daily life that queer students have to live.  The hiding, the secrecy.  There was no mention on how regular people live their lives.  How they have to hide who they bring home to their apartments.  I know Oprah was trying to prove a point that powerful people are homosexual as well, but she forgets so much about real life.

I wouldn't know how to come out to my parents.  My mother is supportive, and she knows that I have a gay friend, but my father, he would probably disown me.  He acknowledges that gays exist, but he thinks it is unnatural.

I'm part of a facebook group that remembers Lawrence King, the boy who was murdered for asking another boy to be his valentine.  There, people who are homophobic join the group just to harass those who are mourning the loss of Lawrence and happen to be gay.  Why would you join a group promoting tolerance and anti-violence just to harass other people.  Do people really have nothing better to do than to tell other people that they're going to hell for liking someone?  I hope they realize that as soon as they condemn one person they are probably going to meet them in that exothermic place we call hell.  If it exists, I'll be there, it'll be a party.  I'll be there for being agnostic/atheist, being queer, liking sex, liking good food, liking material things (that I'm trying to stop) and I'm sure a bunch of other things that are sinful and bad.

Stop hating people for what they cannot change.  It is not a disease.  I'm perfectly healthy!  I don't harm anyone, I don't try to "convert" people.  I do less damage as a queer, than some "christians" do...  but major kudos to the Christians out there who respect differences and love unconditionally!  Kudos to anyone who respects differences and loves unconditionally.

Drive by the churches on every street and you can sow how easy it is to brainwash these people. To think they are loving, while hating the same day. These same people prolonged slavery, hold back advances of science, were against the equal rights movement for blacks AND women and since those are no longer acceptable (except in fringe christian groups like the KKK), they have moved on to homosexuals. I have heard Christians tell me AIDS was god punishment to gays. He lets pedophiles, rapists, serial killers etc. off the hook, man God really hates them GAYS!!!!

I think it is the deep rooted fear that might be craving some dick, or that the brainwashing appeals to some we are morally superior to non-religious people(of course by dragging a gay in a pick up or hanging a black)

Hope this isn't to harsh for you. But fuck those bigots. It is time for people against this to fight back. Much like the women did for the sufferage movement, or Martin Luther King did, or even as founding father Thomas Paine did (he was best friends with Washington but they became bitter enemies after Washingtons' view of slavery was so strong, Thomas could bear it no longer).

There you go twisting facts again to suit your hate for Christians.

While Thomas Paine did oppose Washingtons owning slaves, his falling out with Washington had very little if anything to do with that issue. His main issue with Washington was over the fact he felt his long time friend had abandoned him when he needed him. After being arrested in france by a plitical rival, he wrote to Washington asking for him to intervene. When he did not, the feud started. Nothing more! I swear you have to be one of the biggest twisting facts lying pricks I have ever ran into!

Okay guys, we need to chill out here. I think that we need to remember that bigotry in both directions is harmful. Respect each other's opinions while still maintaining your own. If one of you changes your mind, great, if not, that's okay too.
