The Alhambra is a huge, fortress in Granada, España. It was a palace that held many Muslim kings in Granada but as of now, it is an Islamic architecture museum. At the center of the fortified walls with 13 humongous towers is the Palace of Charles V, former king of Spain (during the Renaissance period.) It once held the mausoleum of all of the monarchs from the spanish empirical period, but they were moved to the Escorial Monastery in Madrid during Felipe II's reign. Also, The Alhambra influenced today's architecture, including the honeycomb technique, roman style arches, and engravings on walls. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Honeycomb_work.jpg, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Palacio_de_Comares.jpg,

As i said earlier, The Alhambra held King Charles V, and it held the bodies of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of the Spanish Empire. They were the king and queen in Spain when Christopher Columbus' expedition to America, so they were the one's who finally decided to fund his "crazy trip."
well, hopefully you can visit it someday, and see it's majesty...
or dead bodies...
