| Something that is to Amazing for Words

Sometimes life doesnt seem worth living, and i dont know why i stay. But then i look at all of those around me, and i realize yeah i dont have alot, but there are people out there who have never known the warmth of a hug, or the happiness a smile can bring. I look at my friends, and i compare them to myself, and i always come up lacking, except in their eyes. It seems to me that no one has a good opinion of themselves at this time, not even those who seem so happy and comfortable with life. There are so many things that are bad in our lives that we forget all that happened in the past, during our life, and before our time, the things that happened over 2000 years ago on this same day. Someone, loved us so much, that he was willing to die the most painful, humiliating and undeserved death that anyone could die. And he died the way many of us feel everyday. betrayed, hated by the people that he held so dear in his heart, rejected and put on a cross, hung up to die. He was mocked, he was beaten. And the worst part is, He did it all for us. Me, You, everyone else in the world. Its so amazing that anyone would do that, much less someone so pure that he didnt have to. So when i think of everything that is so bad in my life, i think of what was done, so that when i die, i dont have to die again. |
