Silence, a Cry for Help. (for Chelsea)

“She silences her thoughts. She renders her overwhelming ability to be who she wants to be. The thought of who she was is no longer in eyesight. The remaining part of her self proves to be inadequate at this present moment. She; the one who presses for stability and hope; is lost! She remains half empty and filled with empathy for others; yet she feels none for her self. Her objectivity of life has turned to subjectivity. The altercations of the simplicities that use to hold her together have now disappeared. There is no argument; there is no moment; in which to release the subtleties of her unconscious despair. There is no time.
She tries to emphasize on what she needs in this life but the calculated issues at hand remove her from her own life. At times, she feels as if she does not exist. As if she may be an angel of some sort. All of her life has been contributed to helping others and keeping her own personality and problems to her self. Now, she is unable to recognize and allocate her feelings in a way that is recognizable to others. So she keeps them to her self; forever!”

I've felt that way of the first, second, and third lines, not sure if its how you meant it, I've been at the point where i had to hide my thoughts and opionions for them to only come bursting out of me, but there will come a time when you can no longer keep your true feelings at bay, this person should find and nurture herself before she can do for anyone else...hope this helps!

Thank you for your comment, AcceptedMyself! I am a Child and Youth Worker and as I post my writings/blogs, they will mostly be about youths that I have worked with and helped with different disorders or difficulties. My purpose in writing my blogs is to reach out to others who may feel the same way as whatever I write and need help or want to just comment. I wrote this particular one because that is what I saw as I worked with this girl. She is doing awesome now! And yes, you are absolutely correct in saying that you need to nurture oneself before helping another. Take care!
